How to Mute Unknown Calls on iPhone
In preventing spam calls from unknown numbers, the iPhone has a feature to silence calls from numbers that are not listed in the contract.

So the call does not generate any sound, so it will not disturb the user.
However, because it will mute all calls from unknown numbers, the iPhone will not be able to distinguish between spam numbers and real numbers — those that are not registered with the contact.

Mute Unknown Calls on iPhone
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap the Phone option.
- On iOS 13, tap on the Silence Unknown Callers option.
- On iOS 14, tap the Silence Unknown Callers option > Tap (on/off) on the Silence Unknown Callers option.
