Back up certain data on the iPhone
- Go to the settings.
- Tap your Apple ID option at the top.
- Tap the iCloud option.
- Tap (Off) on any of the apps you don't want to back up.
- To prevent photos from being automatically backed up to iCloud, tap the Photos option and then tap (Off) in the iCloud Photos option.
