As with phone calls, you can do the same with FaceTime on iPad. You can create more than one reply message and choose which one to send while the FaceTime call is still in progress.

To reply to FaceTime with a message on iPad
- Go to Settings.
- Swipe down until you find the "Phone" option.
- Tap on the "Reply with text" option.
- Tap on the text box and type in the message you want to send.
- When the process is complete and a FaceTime call comes in, you can reply with the message you created.
